摘要: male. More than half (73%) of isolates recovered from wounds, 71% cerebrospinal fluid, 62% blood, 44% respiratory cultures and 25% urine were susceptible to minocycline. MDR-AB had higher susceptibility minocycline (56%) the comparators (Fig. 1). Isolates either burn (76%) or non-burn (46%) patients showed highest minocycline, followed by doxycycline tetracycline. The number minocycline-susceptible A. baumannii was significantly tetracycline-susceptible (p<0.05), comparable doxycyclinesusceptible isolates. Among 348 tetracycline-resistant isolates, 160 (45%) whereas among 204 doxycycline-resistant 36 (17%) Only 23 (4%) that tetracycline also numbers intermediately resistant but doxycycline, both 253 (52.05%), 190 (39.09%), 171 (35.1%), respectively. This study highlights fact remains an effective therapeutic option, even in a geographical region with high rate MDR-AB. In contrast various body sites, urinary tract low combined solubility indicate is not antibiotic choice for infections
