摘要: Among economists the following questions arise: Will new measures of well-being1 be any more meaningful than traditional indicators? Is focus on quality life a welcome recognition that governments can and should promote happiness? In my study I introduce OECD’s so-called Better Life Index, which was launched 24 May 2011 aims to measure wellbeing progress. The index allows citizens compare across 34 countries in 11 topics – housing, income, jobs, community, education, environment, governance, health, satisfaction, safety work-life balance giving their own weight each topics. this document tend show charts relating data ranks concerning Hungary. Over past 50 years, OECD has developed rich set recommendations policies best support economic growth. task for is develop an equally menu societal progress: better lives. success recent publication depends its application ability give coherent shape incoherent reality asymmetric public policy objectives.
