摘要: Zoonotic transmission of disease from pet birds is uncommon, but there are some recognized dangers. Most notably, Chlamydophila psittaci can be transmitted to humans. Allergic responses birds, including pneumonitis and contact dermatitis, have also been documented. Bite wounds rarely reported cause trauma develop infection. The other diseases discussed here considered potential zoonotic because either isolated reports suspected unconfirmed humans or wild conspecifics being the disease.
