摘要: Abstract Lesions in the midbrain median but not dorsal raphe nucleus significantly decreased serotonin (5-HT) content of hippocampus (61%), medial preoptic area (49%), suprachiasmatic (70%) and anterior hypothalamic (60%). Electrolytic lesions restricted to either or produced significant reductions 5-HT concentration caudate-putamen, anterolateral (45%) arcuate (48–58%). The fall caudate-putamen level was greater after (66%) than (24%) lesion. Neither lesion affected posterolateral area, ventromedial dorsomedial nucleus. Thus, like their differential projections hippocampus, mesencephalic nuclei appear innervate different preoptico-hypothalamic areas. Whereas seems be primary source fibers nucleus, inputs derive from both nuclei.
