摘要: The study of phospholipid phase transitions is important for understanding drug− and protein−membrane interactions as well other phenomena such trans-membrane diffusion vesicle fusion. A temperature-controlled stage on a confocal Raman microscope has allowed in optically trapped vesicles to be monitored. spectra were acquired analyzed using self-modeling curve resolution, multivariate statistical analysis technique. This method revealed the subtle spectral changes indicative sub- pretransitions main composed 1,2-dipalmitoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (DPPC). scattering results compared differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) experiments found good agreement. observing lipid transition profiles requires little sample preparation minimal amount (≤0.1 nmol) an experiment. conformational molecules occurring during pha...
