摘要: Charged closed-cell polypropylene polymer foams are highly sensitive and broadband piezoelectric materials with a quasistatic d33 coefficient about 250 pC/N dynamic of 140 at 600 kHz. The is much larger than that ferroelectric polymers, like polyvinylidene fluoride, compares favorably ceramics, such as lead zirconate titanate. pyroelectric p3=0.25 μC/m2 K small in comparison to polymers ceramics. low density, high sensitivity make charged attractive for wide range sensor transducer applications acoustics, air-borne ultrasound, medical diagnostics, nondestructive testing.
