摘要: Abstract: To improve the corrosion resistance of magnesium (Mg) alloys, surface modification is applied in an attempt to produce a resistant barrier. In this chapter, new method deposit aluminum (Al) film on Mg alloy demonstrated. Electrodeposition Al AZ91D alloy, using acidic chloride–1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium chloride ionic liquid (AlCl3–EMIC), has been shown be feasible. The existence coating can cause substantial increase resistance, reducing susceptibility aqueous corrosion. results electrochemical impedance spectroscopy show that leads polarization bare by one order magnitude 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. Furthermore, potentiodynamic Al-coated passivated, and wider passive region with lower current density obtained if electrodeposited at or low cathodic overpotential. passivity co-deposited Al/Zn slightly inferior pure coating.
