摘要: In this study, the setting and tensile strength development of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) at a very early age was investigated by performing penetration resistance test (ASTM C403), as well direct using newly developed apparatus, taking ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) measurements. order to determine optimum surface treatment method for preventing rapid drying UHPC, four different methods were examined: plastic sheet, curing cover, membrane-forming compound, paraffin oil. Based on results, use oil found be best choice measuring UPV, attaching sheet exposed considered simple UHPC elements. An S-shaped (before 24 h) experimentally obtained, it predicted power function UPV. Lastly, addition shrinkage-reducing expansive admixtures resulted in more UPV UHPC.
