摘要: Abstract The photocatalysed degradation of 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (4-CPA, 1 ) has been investigated in aqueous suspensions titanium dioxide under a variety conditions. was studied by monitoring the change substrate concentration employing UV spectroscopic analysis technique and depletion total organic carbon (TOC) content as function irradiation time. influence various parameters such as, different types (TiO 2 powders, pH, catalyst concentrations, presence electron acceptor hydrogen peroxide (H O besides molecular oxygen investigated. effects these on rates were found to be significant. volatile product 4-chlorophenol analyzed GC–MS probable pathways for formation proposed.
