摘要: This study will be a remake in part of Tyler & Lindblom "Preliminary simultaneous masking and pulsation-threshold patterns vowels" (1982), with the use today's technology. A steady-state vowel as masker pure tones signals presented using simultaneous-masking (SM) (PT) procedures an adjustment method to collect pattern. Vowel intensity is changed three steps 15 dB. For SM, each dB change expected result about 10-13-dB signal thresholds. PT, thresholds 3-4 These results would correspond from study. Depending on technology outcome, further experiments can made, involving representations dynamic stimuli like CV-transitions diphthongs.
