摘要: Abstract Over the last four decades eradication of rats from islands around New Zealand has moved accidental following exploratory use baits for rat control to carefully planned complex eradications and cats (Felis catus) on large islands. Introduced rodents have now been eradicated more than 90 Of these successful campaigns, those Breaksea Island, Mercury Islands, Kapiti Tuhua Island are used here as case studies because they represent milestones techniques or results achieved. Successful methods range bait stations silos serviced foot aerial spread by helicopters using satellite navigation systems. The development benefited adaptive management.
