摘要: Growth activities in different areas of the human septal cartilage were determined by extent DNA synthesis and matrix 20 patients aged 6 to 40 years. measured vitro incorporation 3H-labelled thymidine was markedly elevated anterior free end central area septum all age groups. Matrix labelled sulphate into proteoglycans showed a comparable age-independent activity end, whereas suprapremaxillary area, displayed its greatest during childhood, showing thereafter continuous decline puberty adulthood. A similar age-dependent pattern this though at much lower level, could also be demonstrated for synthesis.
