摘要: Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) has been extensively used for examining potential failures in products, processes, designs services. An important issue of FMEA is the determination risk priorities failure modes that have identified. The traditional determines using so-called priority numbers (RPNs), which require factors like occurrence (O), severity (S) detection (D) each to be precisely evaluated. This may not realistic real applications. In this paper we treat O, S D as fuzzy variables evaluate them linguistic terms ratings. As a result, (FRPNs) are proposed prioritization modes. FRPNs defined weighted geometric means ratings D, can computed alpha-level sets linear programming models. For ranking purpose, defuzzified centroid defuzzification method, new formula based on derived. A numerical example provided illustrate applications detailed computational process FRPNs.
