摘要: How much oxygen is enough continues to be a vexing issue. Clearly, very low levels produce alterations in organ function, such as encephalopathy, pulmonary vasoconstriction, lactic acidosis, and cell death. Guided by the principle that primary objective of therapy adequate delivery tissues, clinicians are frequently able decrease inspired concentration early thereby avoid prolonged exposure toxic oxygen. In conjunction with new developments mechanical ventilation, story will continue evolve.
