摘要: Abstract The open graded friction course (OGFC) mix performance and its effectiveness mostly depend on permeability characteristics. Clogging of OGFC (due to deposition sand debris), resulting in the reduction characteristics, plays an important role consequential performance. In this study, investigation was carried out analyze influence electric arc furnace (EAF) steel slag, which is considered as a partial replacement coarse (size above 2.36 mm) natural aggregates, clogging mixes. mixes were designed using two types aggregates viz. EAF modified bituminous binders polymer crumb rubber bitumen. physical properties slag assessed determine suitability for Steel five different percentages, 0, 25, 50, 75 100% used design falling head concept measure cylindrical specimens. Graded effect de-clogging percentage found be strongly correlated porosity, directly relates both before after clogging. secondary rate approximately fifty percent initial process could able restore average 86% 93% respectively PMB-OGFC CRMB-OGFC
