摘要: Streptolysins S and O from hemolytic streptococci were found to induce mitochondrial swelling the release of malic dehydrogenase mitochondria; no other streptococcal products as active. Mg++, cyanide, dinitrophenol, bovine serum albumin, antimycin all inhibited streptolysin-induced swelling; only latter two agents prevented particles. The streptolysins also solubilized beta-glucuronidase less numerous lysosomes fractions. Vitamin A induced mitochondria with and, at higher concentrations, beta-glucuronidase. In these effects, streptolysin vitamin resembled cysteine ascorbate, which lysis together solubilization enzymes. contrast, by such phosphate, thyroxine, or substrates was not accompanied enzymes particles is suggested a criterion for distinguishing "lytic" those dependent upon electron transport. It possible dissociate effects on in experiments; necessary damage than converse A. Injury resulted direct action agents, since lysosomal released consequence their capable inducing under conditions studied.
