摘要: Abstract Carbon fibre-reinforced polymers (CFRPs) are popular in industry. Bonded joints between CFRPs can be under static or fatigue loadings. This chapter covers mode I behaviour of bonded CFRP structures. initially discussed, followed by a brief state-of-the-art overview I, II and mixed-mode characterization. Preparation testing techniques for then discussed. Fatigue characterization composites is also described with applications, focusing on stress-fatigue life crack growth (FCG) techniques. Finally, the fracture mechanisms described. FCG currently main technique characterization, allowing an accurate representation materials’ strength prediction.
