摘要: This project studied the response of sandwich panel subjected to blast loading. The panels were based on two different face sheets (aluminium and woven glass-fibre/epoxy) an aluminium honeycomb core. Experimental studies carried out analyse effect skin core thickness panels. with glass-fibre/epoxy exhibited delamination in crushing, whereas failure skins involved permanent visible indentation crushing. It was concluded that composite-skinned structures offered a superior resistance aluminium-skinned system.
