摘要: A method that distinguishes different battery chemistries in portable electronic devices using a simple electrical test. The present facilitates accurate fuel gauging as well providing safe in-device recharging scenario, eliminating the possibility an end-user might attempt non-rechargeable battery. circuit is provided device that, conjunction with microcontroller, measures several distinct voltages across newly inserted lookup table then utilized to determine probable chemistry.
