摘要: How can emergency department (ED) decision makers contribute to increase patient satisfaction rates? This question has been thoroughly investigated in many hospital departments but not so much the ED, which led a number of untested hypotheses. Maximising value-added activities seen from patient’s perspective become an essential outcome health care, meaning that hypotheses are need quantitative testing. study proposes integrated framework four latent constructs reflecting principal aspects care tested. The entitled safety and satisfaction, waiting time, information delivery, infrastructure accordingly. As empirical foundation, recently published comprehensive survey 11 Danish EDs is analysed depth using structural equation modeling (SEM). Consulting proposed framework, ED provided with where launch high-impact initiatives enhance current levels.
