摘要: Edman degradations were performed on the pentapeptide bridges of peptidoglycans which biosynthesized in vitro by using six different species seryl-transfer ribonucleic acid (tRNA). The ratio glycine to serine each five bridge positions varied with concentration crude glycyl-tRNA contained reaction mixtures, and appeared be incorporated a random manner. No single seryl-tRNA could identified as one active vivo synthesis; however, it can speculated that seryl-tRNA(s) from category I involved nonrandom incorporation bridge.
