摘要: The interactions of charged particles with cylindrical tubules are studied within the framework dielectric theory. Elementary excitations on a tubule modeled by an infinitesimally thin layer free-electron gas, uniformly distributed over surface tubule. function such system, obtained from random-phase approximation, exhibits dimensional crossover two-dimensional to one-dimensional electron when radius decreases. Energy loss particle, moving paraxially in tubule, can be divided into single-particle excitation part and resonant part. It is shown that modes which dominate energy high-velocity regime, quite different those cavity solid, described bulk surrounding three-dimensional gas.
