摘要: Phantom perception of lost body parts and phantom pain syndrome are well known. Supernumerary limbs described infrequently. We report the case a previously healthy 80-year-old, right-handed woman, who was admitted to hospital with right thalamocapsular stroke accompanied by supernumerary sensation. The patient referred strange sensation having 4 forearms legs in her left side. lasted about 18 hours after stroke. neurological examination revealed sensory-motor deficits but no cognitive impairment; CT-scan showed small haemorrhagic area between internal capsule thalamus. General features light actual knowledge discussed.
