摘要: — Observations have been made of the threshold fatigue properties an Al-Mg-Si casting alloy. First, it has shown that there exists a critical value stress ratio, R, below which intensity factor decreases with increasing R but above is constant. Second, measurements cyclic crack opening displacement used to examine closure effects and deduce effective factor. The two sets data are compared existing models for phenomena.
