摘要: Abstract Aquatic mollusks were investigated by opportunistic collection in Khao Yai National Park,Thailand, every two months from March 2006 to January 2007. Our study focused on thehabitat and species diversity of aquatic mollusks, which can act as intermediate hosts parasitictrematodes. The assembled baseline information parasitic animal human diseases thisarea. Three sampling areas for mollusk diversity: Kongkaew Waterfall, Lam TakhongStream, Heo Suwat Waterfall. collected hand-pick scoop methods. Fivespecies gastropod bivalve found: Melanoides tuberculata, Filopaludina martensimartensi, Clea (Anentome) helena, Pseudodon mouhoti, Corbicula javanica. physicochemicalcharacteristics water quality the streams varied slightly one area another, betweenseasons. temperature was around 22-25 °C, dissolved oxygen 7.1-9.5 mg/l. cercarialinfections shedding crushing methods, werecategorized into three species: Apatemon gracilis, Mesostephanus appendiculatus, Loxogenoidesbicolor. A. gracilis M. appendiculatus cercariae found snail C. TakhongStream infection rates 4.35% (2/46) 6.52% (3/46), respectively.L. bicolor F. martensi Takhong Stream. rate 2.38% (1/42).M. tuberculata most densely populated this study, whereasC. helena important disease.
