摘要: Abstract Arabia Terra is a region of Mars where signs past-water occurrence are recorded in several landforms. Broad and local scale geomorphological, compositional hydrological analyses point towards pervasive fluid circulation through time. In this work we focus on mound fields located the interior three casters larger than 40 km (Firsoff, Kotido unnamed crater 20 km to east) showing strong morphological textural resemblance terrestrial mud volcanoes spring-related features. We infer that these landforms likely testify presence pressurized reservoir at depth past upwelling. have performed morphometric characterize morphologies consequently retrieve an accurate automated mapping mounds within craters for spatial distribution fractal clustering analysis. The outcome yields information about possible extent percolating fracture network below craters. been able constrain between ∼2.5 3.2 km hence, propose alignments most associated fissure ridges outflow. Their process formation genetically linked large intra-crater bulges previously interpreted as spring deposits. overburden removal caused by impact inferred triggering mechanism pressurization upwelling, time led and, after compaction sealing, widespread their surroundings.
