摘要: Abstract The adsorption behaviour of Cl−, Br− and I− anions on Bi single crystal plane electrodes from aqueous, methanol, ethanol, 2-propanol acetonitrile solutions has been studied by impedance spectroscopy chronocoulometry methods. values the surface excess Gibbs energy halide ions Bi(111), Bi(001) Bi( 01 1 ) planes have calculated, using electrode potential E charge density σ as independent electrical variables. Analysis data shows that, under comparable conditions, results obtained at constants are coincident. formal transfer coefficient (so-called electrosorption valency) dipole moment dipole, formed a ion adsorbed its image in plane, calculated. For Bi(111) where chemical bonds all saturated, anion practically potential. more active planes, there is noticeable dependence both characteristics charge, higher positive charges, covalent bonding between atoms probable. Comparison these with those for vacuum ∣ metal interfaces that significantly screened solvent molecules well metal electron gas, but influence dielectric other effective comparatively small.
