摘要: Abstract A novel toxic polypeptide, INN-toxin, is purified from the venom of Naja naja using combination gel-permeation and ion-exchange chromatography. It has a molecular mass 6951.6 Da as determined by MALDI-TOF/MS N-terminal sequence LKXNKLVPLF. showed both neurotoxic well cytotoxic activities. INN-toxin lethal to mice with LD 50 1.2 mg/kg body weight. IgY raised in chicks against basic peptide pool neutralized toxicity INN-toxin. did not inhibit cholinesterase activity. Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) cells, but it leukocyte culture. The toxin appears be specific its mode action. Interaction N -bromosuccinamide (NBS) resulted modification tryptophan residues loss
