摘要: The grafting of benzylic amide macrocycles, the basic units more complex mechanically interlocked architectures such as catenanes and rotaxanes, was performed via functionalization an acid-terminated self-assembled monolayer (SAM) 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (11-MUA). Both chemical physical adsorption were investigated using macrocycles containing either a reactive hydroxyl functionality or exo-pyridyl moiety, with characterization systems X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), contact angle measurements, reflection absorption infrared (RAIRS). By comparing theoretical values experimental data, it found that up to 40% groups on SAM surface modified by macrocycle coverage can be controlled varying reaction time. Stability tests demonstrated prepared films are stable in air, under ultrasound treatment against substitution. RAIRS measurements suggested tilted orientation...
