摘要: Electroplating waste solutions constitute a major source for environmental pollution with heavy metal ions such as Cu 2+ , Cd Pb and Cr 6+ . These are lethal to man aquatic life well, therefore should be removed from wastewater before disposal of waste. The present work is concerned the removal by cementation on zinc in batch stirred tank reactor lined cylindrical sheet. rate was studied under different conditions impeller rotation speed, initial concentration, temperature, time cementation. It found that increases increasing concentration residence time. Mechanistic study reaction through activation energy (35.98 kJ/mol) determination showed diffusion controlled reaction. Visual observations cadmium deposits form powder. Cadmium powder valuable salable product which can improve economy process.
