摘要: Frankliniella occidentalis response to color hue and intensity was tested in both field bioassays electrophysiology of the thrips eye. Results electroretinograms demonstrated that males females have a double peak spectral efficiency ultraviolet near 365nm green-yellow range at 540nm. tests suggest, based on density change relative sex ratio between behaviors, there greater male behavior (i.e. density) than female behavior. Higher densities were observed blue, violet, white yellow hues. Interactions UV green photopigments integration visual stimuli within central nervous system may allow for discrimination blue vie let, colors are wavelengths two peaks. Because peaks sensitivity same sexes, rankings remains periods, versus be result complex behavioral responses many possible cues as yet undetermined.
