摘要: Alzheimer's disease (AD) and type 2 diabetes (T2D) are both prevalent in older individuals have gained significant attention due to alarming rates of increase. The high incidences these diseases pose a great socioeconomic burden cause major public health concerns worldwide. A number studies established potential links between AD T2D, supporting the hypothesis that T2D is linked with an increased risk controlling could positive impact on prevention AD. At present, lack precise diagnostic approaches for early intervention effective cure. Further, currently available tools screening insufficiently sensitive robust preventive measures. Although several drugs used treatment diseases, none offers complete remission disease, merely symptomatic relief. Moreover, limited efficacy because problems such as conventional drug delivery systems beyond blood brain barrier, target specificity diminished potency. From this perspective, emerging field nanotechnology has offered new techniques overcome challenges. In review, we discuss direct indirect limitations existing therapies describe alternative nanotechnological be utilized limitations. New insight nanomedicine necessary diagnosis, development novel therapies, action prevention, well gaining in-depth understanding complex biology diseases.
