Crystal structure and fluorescence spectrum of 3Y2O3, WO3: Eu3+

摘要: Abstract A structural study of the rhombohedral compound 3Y 2 O 3 , WO doped with Europium was carried out. The fluorescence spectrum Eu 3+ measured in frequency range 12500–25000 cm −1 . Transitions from excited state 5D 0 to Stark components five lowest 7F J (J=0,1,2,3,4) states were observed. analysis revealed that rare earth ion is within a crystal field C 1 symmetry. We found values for B k q parameters which give good agreement between observed and calculated levels.
