摘要: Purpose Direct access to the zygomatic branch of facial nerve in parotid is less invasive and more selective than first dissecting trunk then finding branches. The aim this study was confirm point reference on skin which would give direct for orbicularis oculi muscle. studied intertragic notch/external canthus line, 2.5 cm front notch. Methods Ten fresh cadavers, thus 20 sides faces were dissected. innervating muscle accessed directly. dissection extended temporofacial cervicofacial branches by a retrograde path parotid. Results Twenty dissections area confirmed validity anatomical considered. Conclusions simplicity reliability landmark important clinical practice has numerous potential applications surgery rehabilitation paralysis associated with VII healthy affected neurorraphies, paresis superneurotizations traumatology.
