摘要: The present study envisages the preparation of chromium substituted Nickel ferrite NiCrxFe2−xO4 (x = 0~1.0) powders by a sol-gel auto-combustion method. X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) showed that specimens with x > 0.2 exhibited single-phase spinel structure, and more content Cr within specimen is favorable for synthesis pure Ni-Cr ferrites. lattice parameter decreased an increase in concentration. sample without calcining good crystallinity. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) formation nano-particles, substitution weakened agglomeration between particles. Mossbauer spectra two normal Zeeman-split sextets displayed ferrimagnetic behavior. Furthermore, indicated iron was Fe3+ state, magnetic hyperfine field at tetrahedral tended to decrease substitution. saturation magnetization Cr3+ ions, reached minimum value (Ms 4.46 emu/g). With annealing temperature, coercivity increased initially, which later decreased.
