Lake status,major problems and protection strategy in China

摘要: Large numbers of lakes with different types are distributed through China.The formation and evolution the not only influenced by natural factors in watersheds,but also deeply disturbed human activities,which led to regional characteristics eco-environmental problems.In recent decades,the number,area distribution have undergone significant changes.Moreover,the facing many problems such as shrinkage,reduction storage capacity,water quality decline,serious eutrophication,biodiversity decrease,ecological degradation,barrier river lake water ecological contact,over-development around shore line area,etc.These triggered a series environmental consequences,seriously affecting daily lives residents sustainable development economy.This paper aims identify China area larger than 1km2,based on field survey investigation.Combined historical data surveys relative research results,the major decades systematically analyzed,and protection strategies for proposed.
