摘要: Rickettsioses are globally distributed and caused by the family Rickettsiaceae, which comprise a diverse expanding list of organisms. These include two genera, Rickettsia Orientia Serology has been traditionally mainstay diagnosis, although this limited cross-reactions among closely related members diminished sensitivity/utility in acute phase illness. Other techniques, such as nucleic acid amplification tests using blood specimens or tissue swabs/biopsy specimens, sequencing, mass spectrometry, have emerged recent years for both pathogen vector identification. This paper provides concise review rickettsioses traditional newer technologies available their diagnosis.
