摘要: Abstract Irradiation of aqueous solutions Escherichia coli 50 S ribosomal subunits with 253.7 nm light results in the covalent crosslinkage rRNA and protein components. Neither peptide bond cleavage nor protein-protein accompanies reaction. In addition, substantial photoinduced modifications primary structure proteins, other than to rRNA, are not detected.
