摘要: BACKGROUND The dwarf tomato variety Micro-Tom has been used as a plant model for studies of development. However, its response to environmental and agricultural factors not well studied. This work the phytochemical content comparative saline nutritional (N, K Ca) stresses with regard commercial variety. RESULTS The chromatographic profiles were similar those only differences appear be concentration components. In Micro-Tom, concentrations sugars organic acids increased by salinity in lesser extent than Optima. Moreover, contrary that observed variety, phenolic compounds vitamin C did increase variety. both varieties similarly carotenoids under conditions. Finally, fruit yield most primary secondary metabolite affected N, or Ca limitation. CONCLUSIONS The mutations leading phenotype greatly alter but using should consider lower capacity conditions greater tolerance nutrient limitation © 2015 Society Chemical Industry
