摘要: Recent advances in the Internet of Things (IoT) and, more generally, distributed computing research have given rise to various edge-oriented paradigms including Edge-, Fog-, and Mobile Cloud-Computing. Systems adhering these exhibit a number characteristics such as high levels heterogeneity dynamicity, leading complexity, that exacerbate problems associated with traditional cyber defence. These are further exacerbated when systems operate adversarial environments, e.g. Battle (IoBT). Current generations defence approaches straddling attack prevention, detection, response tolerance arguably insufficient for operating IoBT especially constant increase sophistication. In this paper, we propose proactive antifragility new paradigm next generation capable taking into account aforementioned system environmental challenges. We conceptualization antifragility, then outline challenges directions indicating which existing can be re-used or advanced/developed order achieved "at edge".
