Maternal Experiences of Their Unborn Child's Spiritual Care: Patterns of Abstinence in Iran.

摘要: Preparing for pregnancy and childbirth has significant association with spirituality. Review of the literature shows that spirituality "unborn child" not yet attracted much critical attention. This study was conducted aim exploration maternal behaviors associated spiritual health unborn child. A qualitative approach used to investigate research question. Twenty-seven in-depth unstructured interviews were 22 Iranian mothers in Tehran city (Iran) who pregnant or had experienced 2012-2013. Data analysis carried out using a conventional content approach. "Refusing eat forbidden food," "Overcoming mental adversity," "Regulating one's social interactions," "Preventing effects harmful environments on senses," "Avoidance insulting abusive language," "Keeping mind spirit free from evil traits," "Refraining damaging behaviors" important experiences "Holistic Abstinence." The results provide new information about subjective women patterns abstinence midwives, community, policy makers, planners child care services order contribute holistic, culturally, religiously competent prenatal Muslim throughout world.
