LIQUID SCINTILLATION COUNTING OF 14C‐DIATOM MATERIAL ON FILTER PAPERS FOR USE IN PRODUCTIVITY STUDIES

摘要: An improved method for the liquid scintillation counting of 14C-phytoplankton material on membrane filter papers is described. The involves incorporation standard 14C-sucrose into filter, and it clearly demonstrates that efficiency sample affected by amount present. It concluded cells have a self-absorptive effect previous methods counting, using internal external standardization, cannot fully detected.
