摘要: The plant, Salvinia natans L., was found effective in the removal of Hg(H) from wastewater. Maximum accumulation noted within a day and maximum (about 90%) recorded below 5 ppm Hg(II). Accumulation metal occurred mainly roots. senescence plant started at above Hg(H). biochemical constituents like chlorophyll, Hill-activity, Protein, RNA, dry weight, activities catalase protease decreased while free amino acid content, peroxidase activity ratio to alkaline pyrophosphatase increased over control values
