摘要: Results are reported for thermoluminescence studies of reactions sulfur atoms in cryogenically deposited solid argon through situ photolysis OCS. Analysis the spectrum that resulted from and heating matrices which O2 was codeposited with an OCS/Ar mixture shows emitter contained oxygen derived added little SO2 accumulated during photolysis. The observed absence or fluorescence either allowed transitions excited is taken as definitive evidence ground-state can insert into molecule effectively zero activation energy.
