摘要: Drawing on recent debates over environmental justice and racism, this paper investigates the distribution of Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) emissions in Michigan an attempt to ascertain whether these are inequitably distributed according race. The analysis examines TRI for entire State, State's urban areas, Detroit Metropolitan Area (DMA). State This finding does not hold multivariate analyses areas DMA. However, race is significantly correlated with bivariate regressions. author makes several arguments.
