摘要: The physiological response of cocoa plants under VSD infections is still limited because there no method in artificial inoculation since Oncobasidium theobromae was reported as parasitic obligates. investigation correlation between responses and attack becomes important information to figure out the effect decreased productivity consequences damages. objective this research describe pathogen infection symptom through fungal staining asses changes some aspects (chlorophyll gass exchange character) infection. This study conducted Kaliwining experimental station, ICCRI, Jember, East Java, Indonesia. result indicated that late stage caused chlorophyll degradation, decreasing transpiration rate, increasing temperature both tolerant clone (Scavina 6) susceptible (TSH 858). rate photosynthesis, stomatal conductance, concentration CO 2 858) showed a drastic decrease when infected by than healthy plants. In resistant 6), photosynthesis significant compared non-infected condition.
