摘要: Man-made changes of the landscape have reduced habitats many species, causing a diminished size and increased isolation populations, which may in ways threaten their survival. The increase inbreeding expected small populations relative to large ones be one such threat. As matings occur among lower number mates, this increases chance relatives, as is known cause decreased fitness species (e.g., reviewed by Charlesworth Charlesworth, 1987), individuals could thus drop after reduction population size.
