摘要: The vasorelaxation induced by carbon monoxide (CO) has been demonstrated previously. Both a guanosine cyclic monophosphate (cGMP) signalling pathway and cGMP-independent mechanisms have proposed to be responsible for the vascular action of CO. A direct effect CO on activity calcium-activated K (KCa) channels in smooth muscle cells (SMCs) underlying were investigated present study. It was found that hyperpolarized single SMCs isolated from rat tail arteries. whole-cell outward K+ channel currents SMCs, but not neuroblastoma cells, enhanced Extracellularly or intracellularly applied increased open probability high-conductance KCa concentration-dependently without affecting conductance. Although it did increase resting level intracellular free calcium concentration, significantly sensitivity SMCs. Furthermore, mediated cGMP guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins, Gi/Go Gs) excised membrane patches. Our results suggest modulation may constitute novel mechanism
