摘要: In this paper, we conduct a new statistical study on the temporal distribution of Global Positioning System Total Electron Content (GPS TEC) anomalies prior to earthquakes with magnitude M≥7.0 in global area during 2003–2012 by method analysis. The ionospheric TEC is for first time studied. It has been observed that negative mainly occur one week earthquakes, and only when greater than or equal 7.6, will have greatest probability occurrence afternoon sunset (i.e. between 12:00 18:00 local time). They last approximate 2 hr, but chance detecting significant enhancement seems not be function there no clear tendency positive anomalies. addition, relationship rate pre-earthquake earthquake discussed, it found within several days before are highly likely related because increase slightly increasing.
