摘要: Magnetotelluric and magnetovariational studies in southern Scotland1–4 have been followed by deep electrical soundings at an additional 30 sites. These lie on approximately linear traverse extending from Kinlochbervie the Lewisian Foreland to Borthwickbrae Scottish Borders (Fig. la). This crosses main geological zones of Scotland follows reasonably closely line LISPB5 seismic project 1b). Full details these geo-electric will be published elsewhere. We present here results two-dimensional modelling both magnetotelluric geomagnetic response functions6,7 obtained along traverse.
